Junior Faculty

(she/her/hers) Sophia has been dancing since the age of 4, growing up with her best friends dancing with Park City Dance, Ballet West and Summit Dance Project.  She and her team have competed and won at many competitions including Artists Simply Human, NUVO, JUMP & Hollywood Connection.  Recently her trio and group contemporary piece placed 1st Overall at ASH Nationals in the summer of 2023, as well as receiving the top honor of “Studio of the Year”.  During the 2022-2023 season she toured as a member of ASH the Company, and then was promoted as an ASH the Company Captain and will continue to tour nationally with them for the 23-24 season.  She has always loved contemporary dance but also has an appreciation for all other styles including hip-hop, ballet & jazz funk.  She hopes to continue to dance after highschool in college and onto a professional level performing in a company.

Sophia is excited to teach and pass down knowledge she has learned throughout her 13 years of dance experience, as well as mentor and help guide the students as Summit Dance Project.

(she/her/hers) Addi has been dancing in Park City, Utah since the age of 8 years old.  She has been trained in Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop & Tap.  Throughout her years of dance training under Summit Dance Project she has fallen in love with teaching young kids and allowing them to find their own passion and love for dance.  Since 2021, Addi has been a teacher for SDP in collaboration with the Youth Sports Alliance, and also serves as a mentor to some of the younger students at the studio.  Addi has developed an immense love for Contemporary dance and performing.  She has grown up competing with her team who received the title of “Studio of the Year” at ASH Nationals 2023.  Throughout the 2023–2024 season Addi will be traveling around the country with ASH the Company, furthering her dance knowledge and career.  After Highschool, Addi plans to continue dancing in college and growing her teaching career.
